Brief information
Casa Amatller (Amatller House) is a building in the Catalan Modernisme style, renovated at the beginning of the 20th century for the industrialist Antoni Amatller. Its facade with decorative ornaments and small towers immediately stands out among the other houses, and inside, elements of the historic interior have been preserved.
Today, Casa Amatller is a house-museum where you can see period furnishings and art exhibitions. Together with the neighboring buildings on Passeig de Gràcia, it forms the famous "Block of Discord" (Illa de la Discòrdia).
